## About this course

INFINIUM Studio is a course on PAACADEMY led by Chantal Matar, focused on designing a META PAVILION that sits at the intersection of art, digital craft, and architecture. Participants collaborate to conceptualize themed exhibition spaces within a fictional alien landscape, building all project components and environmental artifacts in SideFX Houdini and experiencing the completed pavilion inside Unreal Engine. The studio explores the relationship between natural environments and artificial intelligence, and is open to both beginner and intermediate participants.

## What you'll learn

- Designing the META PAVILION: Collaborate on creating a pavilion that embodies the intersection of art, digital craft, and architecture.

- Exploration of Exhibition Spaces: Conceptualize themed exhibition spaces within the pavilion that highlight the balance between art and technology.

- Use of Unreal Engine: Gain experience in visualizing and experiencing architectural projects in a virtual environment using Unreal Engine.

- Modeling in Houdini: Learn to build project components and environmental artifacts within Houdini, emphasizing creative and technical skills.

- Integration of AI in Design: Explore the relationship between natural environments and artificial intelligence in the context of your pavilion design.

## Methodology

INFINIUM will be at the base of a mega architectural project of contemplation that can be experienced inside Unreal Engine. The Infinium Pavilion will be conceptualized as a cultural and artistic space in the middle of a fictional alien landscape, where we will build the project components, the artifacts exhibited, and its environment inside Houdini.

Its imaginary location will serve as a connection between Natural Environments and Artificial Intelligence.

The studio is highly creative and technical and is open for both beginner and intermediate levels.

## FAQ

### What software is used in the INFINIUM Studio course?
The studio uses SideFX Houdini for building the pavilion components, artifacts, and environmental elements, and Unreal Engine for visualizing and experiencing the architectural project in a real-time virtual environment. No additional software is required.

### What does the INFINIUM Studio course cover?
Participants collaborate on designing a META PAVILION as a cultural and artistic space set within a fictional alien landscape. The program covers pavilion conceptualization, themed exhibition space design, procedural environment and artifact creation in Houdini, real-time visualization in Unreal Engine, and exploration of the relationship between artificial intelligence and natural environments.

### Is the INFINIUM Studio suitable for beginners?
Yes. The studio is open to both beginner and intermediate levels. The course is described as highly creative and technical, but the collaborative studio format means participants can engage at their own level of experience with Houdini and Unreal Engine.

### What will I produce by the end of this course?
Participants contribute to a collectively designed META PAVILION — a mega architectural project fully realized inside Unreal Engine, complete with themed exhibition spaces, environmental artifacts built in Houdini, and a fictional alien landscape context that positions the pavilion at the meeting point of art, digital craft, and artificial intelligence.
