## About this course

Sculpture Synergy in VR is a 2-day workshop on PAACADEMY that combines VR sculpting, AI-assisted creativity, advanced texturing, and cinematic video production. Participants use Gravity Sketch and Substance Modeler for 3D sculpting in virtual reality, Krea.AI for AI-driven design inspiration, Substance Painter for realistic materials, and Unreal Engine 5 to produce professional video outputs of their work. A VR headset such as Quest 2, Quest 3, or Quest Pro is required.

## What you'll learn

- VR Sculpting: Create detailed 3D sculptures using Gravity Sketch and Substance Modeler.

- AI Tools: Utilize Krea.ai for creative inspiration and enhancements.

- Texturing: Apply realistic materials with Substance Painter.

- Video Production: Produce cinematic outputs using Unreal Engine 5.

- Workflow Development: Develop a personalized workflow combining these techniques.

## Methodology

The workshop is structured around individual learning, with instructional demonstrations and hands-on practice. Each participant will work independently on their projects, with guidance and feedback provided throughout. The focus will be developing a personal workflow combining VR sculpting, AI integration, texturing, and video production.

This workshop will guide you through creating detailed 3D sculptures in VR using Gravity Sketch and Substance Modeler, harnessing AI, and incorporating it into your creative process with Krea.ai. Followed by adding realistic materials and textures with Substance Painter. On the second day, we’ll dive into Unreal Engine 5 to produce cinematic video outputs of your sculptures, showcasing your work in a professional and visually compelling manner.

## FAQ

### What VR headset do I need to use Gravity Sketch for 3D sculpting?
Gravity Sketch supports Meta Quest 2, Quest 3, and Quest Pro headsets, as well as other compatible VR devices. For this workshop, participants are required to have a Quest 2, Quest 3, or Quest Pro headset set up and ready before the sessions begin. The computer running Gravity Sketch and the other required software should meet the workshop's hardware specifications: an Intel i7-8700K or AMD Ryzen 7 or higher CPU, an NVIDIA RTX 2070 or equivalent GPU, 16 GB of RAM, and Windows 10 or 11.

### What does the Sculpture Synergy in VR workshop at PAACADEMY cover?
Day 1 focuses on VR sculpting using Gravity Sketch and Substance Modeler, incorporating AI-driven design enhancements through Krea.AI, and applying realistic textures and materials with Substance Painter. Day 2 moves into Unreal Engine 5, where participants learn to produce cinematic video outputs that showcase their sculpted and textured work in a professional, visually compelling format. Each participant works independently on their own project throughout, with guided demonstrations and ongoing feedback.

### What hardware and software do I need before joining this VR sculpting workshop?
Participants must have all software installed and hardware configured before the workshop begins. Required tools include Gravity Sketch, Substance Modeler, Substance Painter, and Unreal Engine 5, along with a compatible VR headset such as Quest 2, Quest 3, or Quest Pro. Storage requirements are significant: Substance Painter requires 50 GB SSD and Unreal Engine 5 requires 100 GB SSD. A high-speed internet connection is also needed for Krea.AI. A pen and tablet is optional for Substance Painter work.

### What will I produce by the end of the Sculpture Synergy in VR workshop?
By the end of the two days, participants will have a fully sculpted and textured 3D model built in VR, enhanced with AI-assisted design decisions from Krea.AI, and rendered as a cinematic video output in Unreal Engine 5. The workshop is designed to help each participant develop a personal, repeatable workflow that combines VR sculpting, AI integration, professional texturing, and video production into a single end-to-end creative process.
