## About this course

This workshop will focus on understanding multiple thinking processes and developing iterative algorithms to evaluate circulation within a given space.

## What you'll learn

- Understanding Space: Explore the relationship between architectural design and human behavior in navigating spaces.

- Iterative Algorithms: Develop algorithms to analyze and evaluate circulation and movement within architectural environments.

- Data Dynamics: Learn to use numbers and probabilities to assess space measurement and user flow.

- Computational Design Tools: Gain hands-on experience with Rhinoceros and Grasshopper 3D, along with plugins like LunchBox, Pufferfish, and Anemone.

- Creative Problem-Solving: Formulate and test your ideas to tackle complex design challenges and improve spatial experiences.

## Methodology

This workshop will focus on understanding multiple thinking processes and developing iterative algorithms to evaluate circulation within a given space. The class predominantly deals with the dynamics of numbers, probability, and data concerning the flow of people, space measurement, and its integration. The software depends on Rhinoceros and Grasshopper 3D visual programming, making it suitable for design practitioners without experience in coding languages.

During the two-day workshop, the students are expected to discover expansive views of various methodologies and unique thinking processes that get incorporated into our understanding of movement through space from a computational perspective. Moreover, students will be encouraged to formulate their ideas. They will be equipped with new tools to facilitate their ability to tackle challenging design scenarios, aiming to evaluate and create a better space.
