28:31Ondrej Chybik (MAS ETH, ARB, RIBA, *1985, Brno, the Czech Republic) is a founding partner of CHYBIK + KRISTOF Architects (CH+K), a studio specializing in urban transformation and architecture, with offices in London, Prague, Brno, and Bratislava. Chybik was educated at Brno University of Technology, TU Graz, and ETH Zurich, where his studio’s student work was exhibited at MoMA NYC. A passionate voice in architectural discourse, Ondrej has been a guest lecturer and critic at universities across Europe. He has also been a juror for national and international architectural competitions and was the principal editor of the Czech Architecture Yearbook 2021-22. As City Architect, he works closely with the Mayor of Valmez on strategic urban development across the city. Ondrej is also a founding member of the Urban Land Institute's national council in the Czech Republic.CH+K is a recipient of many design accolades and awards. These include the AR Design Vanguard NYC, a Mies van der Rohe Award nomination, and a prestigious 40 Under 40 Award. Only 15 years old, the studio has completed over 1,700 homes within numerous large-scale mixed-use masterplans, as well as cultural landmarks and public spaces. A major recent project is a 5,650 seat multifunctional arena which is currently under construction in Jihlava in the Czech Republic, and is due to complete in the autumn 2025.In 2023, in collaboration with FRAME, CH+K published its first monograph, ‘Crafting Character’, which was launched at the Barbican Centre in London. The studio’s work has been showcased at major festivals, including the London Festival of Architecture (2024), the Tbilisi Architecture Biennial (2020), and the Venice Architecture Biennale (2025). CH+K has been featured in leading architecture publications, such as Gestalten, Wallpaper, Monocle and The Wall Street Journal Magazine.
Hamid Hassanzadeh is a distinguished architect, entrepreneur, researcher, and speaker. Having earned his degree in architectural engineering in 2012, Hamid has since contributed to various architectural projects across multiple regions around the globe. In early 2016, he founded the ParametricArchitecture platform, initially launching on Instagram. Today, ParametricArchitecture, often abbreviated as PA, stands as a globally renowned hub for parametric, computational design, and AI lovers, boasting over 20 million monthly interactions on the internet. Hamid endeavors to demystify the intricacies of the parametric, computational, and AI realms through compelling articles, interviews, workshops, podcasts, and conferences disseminated across various digital platforms. Furthermore, he’s the visionary behind PAACADEMY, an educational entity under the aegis of PA, dedicated to propagating the concepts of computational architecture and design. The PAACADEMY, as an educational platform, educates and engages with its audience, introducing them to advanced techniques and algorithms employed by architects, designers, and coders alike. He highlights exemplary projects executed using state-of-the-art design software, ensuring that his audience not only witnesses but also comprehends the depth and philosophy of these avant-garde design practices. Moreover, as the esteemed host of the 'PA Talks' interview series, he engages in enriching conversations with architects, orchestrates numerous workshops, conferences, and events, and has had the privilege of interviewing myriad globally acclaimed architects, delving into their methodologies and foresighted visions for the architectural landscape.
