What is Flora AI used for in architecture?

Flora AI is an AI creative assistant used for idea generation, concept refinement and visual output in architectural and interior design workflows. At PAACADEMY, it is taught as part of multi-tool AI pipelines alongside Midjourney, Gemini, Nano Banana and Claude AI. This helps designers move from initial briefs to realistic renders more efficiently across both 2D drawings and 3D model visualization.

Do I need prior AI experience to take the Flora AI course at PAACADEMY?

No prior experience is required. Both Flora AI courses at PAACADEMY are classified as beginner level, designed for architects and interior designers who want to start using AI in their design process without assumed knowledge of any specific tool or platform.

How does Flora AI work alongside Midjourney in an interior design workflow?

Flora AI and Midjourney serve different stages in a design pipeline. Flora AI functions as a generative ideation and refinement tool for creative exploration and rapid concept iteration, while Midjourney is used for producing high-fidelity architectural visualizations for presentation. PAACADEMY courses teach both tools together so students understand how to use each at the appropriate stage of the design process.
