Soomeen Hahm Workshops

Soomeen Hahm is the founder of SoomeenHahm Design Ltd, a design researcher, educator, and architectural designer specializing in computational design and robotic fabrication. She earned her Bachelor of Architecture from Beijing Tsinghua University and her Master of Architecture from the Architectural Association’s Design Research Lab (DRL).Her expertise spans generative and algorithmic design, multi-agent systems, interactive environments, behavioral simulations, and digital fabrication. Her recent research focuses on AR/VR, wearable machines, and human-computer interaction, advancing augmented design and construction methods.

Hahm has led design studios at the Architectural Association and The Bartlett (BPro AD), where she developed projects exploring design and construction by augmented humans. She has lectured and conducted workshops at institutions worldwide and contributed to online education platforms dedicated to digital design tools.

She worked as a designer at Zaha Hadid Architects and Zaha Hadid Design, contributing to some of the most iconic architectural and product designs of recent years. With a deep specialization in coding, digital simulations, and 3D modeling, Hahm continues to shape the future of computational design through research, teaching, and practice.
