PAACADEMY provides professional online Speckle courses, teaching computational designers how to manage and synchronize 3D models and AEC design data seamlessly across platforms like Rhino, Grasshopper and Revit.

Speckle is an open-source data platform for the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry that enables real-time collaboration on 3D models and design data across different software environments. It acts as a connector between platforms like Rhino, Grasshopper, Revit, Dynamo, and Unity, allowing design data to be pushed, pulled, and synchronized across applications without manual file exports.

At PAACADEMY, Speckle is taught in Integr8.AEC: Facades by Stefano Rossi and Mahdi Fard, focusing on solving the data silos common in complex architectural projects:

• Real-Time Synchronization: Pushing Grasshopper geometry directly into Revit or other BIM platforms instantly.
• Parametric Attribution: Managing and transferring metadata (tags, material properties, panel IDs) alongside physical geometry.
