Arturo Tedeschi is an Italian architect and computational designer internationally renowned for his sculptural and visionary approach combined with research on advanced design methods, materials, and fabrication technologies. His use of digital technologies blurs the line between disciplines and emphasizes the semantic and emotional values of objects. As a consultant, he worked with some of the world’s most influential brands in fashion design, sportswear, automotive, and architecture, providing services related to algorithmic modeling, complex geometry, digital fabrication, artificial intelligence, virtual reality, and data-driven design. His personal work has been featured in international magazines such as Forbes, Wired, Dezeen, AD, and Business Insider and exhibited worldwide. He is the author of the books Parametric Architecture with Grasshopper and AAD Algorithms-Aided Design unanimously considered one of the global references on the subject. Since 2011 he promoted and directed more than 200 events and workshops that trained a generation of students and professionals. In 2019 he was appointed Italian Ambassador for Design by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He lives and works in Milano, Italy.
Hamid Hassanzadeh is a distinguished architect, entrepreneur, researcher, and speaker. Having earned his degree in architectural engineering in 2012, Hamid has since contributed to various architectural projects across multiple regions around the globe.
In early 2016, he founded the ParametricArchitecture platform, initially launching on Instagram. Today, ParametricArchitecture, often abbreviated as PA, stands as a globally renowned hub for parametric, computational design, and AI lovers, boasting over 20 million monthly interactions on the internet. Hamid endeavors to demystify the intricacies of the parametric, computational, and AI realms through compelling articles, interviews, workshops, podcasts, and conferences disseminated across various digital platforms.
Furthermore, he’s the visionary behind PAACADEMY, an educational entity under the aegis of PA, dedicated to propagating the concepts of computational architecture and design. The PAACADEMY, as an educational platform, educates and engages with its audience, introducing them to advanced techniques and algorithms employed by architects, designers, and coders alike. He highlights exemplary projects executed using state-of-the-art design software, ensuring that his audience not only witnesses but also comprehends the depth and philosophy of these avant-garde design practices.
Moreover, as the esteemed host of the 'PA Talks' interview series, he engages in enriching conversations with architects, orchestrates numerous workshops, conferences, and events, and has had the privilege of interviewing myriad globally acclaimed architects, delving into their methodologies and foresighted visions for the architectural landscape.
Lovely session.
This webinar on Rhino 3D + Grasshopper 3D was a nice, chill intro to parametric design — perfect for getting your feet wet. It walks you through the basics (interface, simple parametric models, algorithm‑driven geometry) and shows how to use visual scripting to create dynamic, changeable designs. The lessons were short (~2 hours), practical and hands‑on, so even if you’re a total beginner, you can follow along without getting lost. Overall, it’s a solid little crash‑course if you want to start building generative design skills fast.
Just fine !
Had fun doing this!
Enjoyed, Thanks!
