Fractal architecture studio

In the "Fractal Architecture Studio" workshop, combines parametric design with fractal art in a unique urban context.
As part of the "Fractal Architecture Studio" workshop, we created a project focused on generating and enhancing fractal-based geometry using digital design tools. We began by using Grasshopper to develop a fractal geometry, taking advantage of its capabilities to iterate complex, self-repeating patterns. The fractal structure was then further manipulated by integrating a voxel element extracted from Mandelbulb 3D, enriching the design with intricate volumetric details. To place the geometry within a realistic context, we used the Urbano plugin in Grasshopper, which allowed us to embed the fractal form into an urban environment, creating a harmonious yet avant-garde interaction between the fractal and the surrounding cityscape. This project showcases a fusion of parametric design and fractal art, exploring the boundary between natural patterns and urban spaces.
