Perspectives provide a visual representation of the design from a specific viewpoint, allowing the architect to evaluate the form, scale, and proportion of the building.

On the other hand, the architectural model representations usually convey more information and can help architects evaluate the spatial relationships between different elements of the building. This workshop is led with an emphasis on form generation and exploring different formats these forms might be represented in (architectural models/ perspectives). Through this course, we will develop new skills to integrate various spatial elements and arrangements in prompts and turn them into complex interesting forms and architectural aesthetics.

This workshop consists of two sessions, each with a unique focus. The first session is primarily aimed at prompt craft, iterative design, and technical skills necessary for students to develop innovative forms.

The second session centers on creating advanced forms by integrating various spatial elements and arrangements, curating images based on composition, and developing new architectural aesthetics. Assignments are incorporated into both sessions for participants to implement the techniques they have learned into their projects.

This workshop will mainly focus on form generation and presenting them in various architectural formats, such as models and perspectives. Participants will learn how to create intricate architectural forms and integrate different materials, spatial elements, and arrangements to add diversity to them.

The workshop will also cover techniques for curating forms in terms of composition and spatial interest, as well as exploring new architectural aesthetics. Additionally, the workshop will examine various techniques for form generation and combine them to create greater variety.

Her fascination with Ai generative tools has driven her to employ them in crafting inventive design concepts over the past year. Her work has garnered global recognition and she has collaborated with various institutions and universities, sharing her expertise on integrating AI into the architecture and design processes.

From Prompting to Spatial Directorship

This was one of the most immediately useful AI visualization workshops I have taken. Pouya’s workflow made a clear distinction between simply generating attractive images and actually directing AI with architectural intent. The strongest takeaway for me was the idea of spatial directorship: controlling camera, composition, materials, lighting, atmosphere, and design fidelity through a structured workflow rather than relying on unpredictable outputs. The progression from raw 3D views and sketches to refined hero images and cinematic sequences felt practical and transferable. For my AutoTroph work, this is especially valuable because it adds a much stronger communication layer to computational research. It gives me a way to translate complex generative ideas into images and motion without losing the architectural logic behind them.
