The Pathway

This virtual sanctuary for relaxation and mental wellness was designed by Dalia Safar as part of PAACADEMY‘s “Meta-Fluid Studio” with Mariana Cabugueira.

The  Need

Mental Health struggles have been increasing rapidly; most people are overworked and rarely have a chance to just relax. Wouldn’t it be great if it became possible to relax at anytime, in a place that is beautiful, maybe a place that is beyond your expectations because real-life restrictions don’t apply there? The Metaverse will have its positive and negative impacts like all technology. But it can help tremendously by providing interactive experiences that can help and improve us.
Concept Exploration

The central concept focused on the Fidget Spinner, a tool designed to alleviate anxiety levels. As Dalia explored further, inspiration struck from elements in nature that are organic and resemble a protective shield. This led to the creation of the first archetype, incorporating shapes inspired by mushrooms and jellyfish.
